I am using the main & community repositories (with some packages from testing) so I have kernel 4.1:

empty@alpine ~ % uname -a
Linux alpine 4.1.20-0-grsec #1-Alpine SMP Mon Mar 21 15:49:51 GMT 2016 x86_64 GNU/Linux

The edge repositories have a newer version available.
