Is there a internet forum package available for Alpine Linux?
Are forums an appropriate application for Alpine Linux?

Yes, alpine forums (drupal 7.x) are running on an alpine linux container on a alpine linux lxc host.
I dont think we have any forum packages in our aports, but you are free to install them yourself after you have installed the necessary deps.
