(1) How to disable framebuffer? I want 80x25 console, not those tiny characters. I dont want to use bigger font in framebuffer. (2) How to get full resolution in X when framebuffer is disabled?
Just thought I'd respond as I figured this out. I ended up removing 'nomodeset' from the end of the 'APPEND' line in /boot/syslinux/syslinux.cfg
