Hello everyone,

I'm coming directly from Fedora and have been using Alpine for a while now. Currently, it's my favorite distro. I'm having some major issues with my linux box (and my VM) trying to install Node.js. All compilation, under any version of Node.js, seems to end with an Error 139 or Segmentation Fault. This link is kind of what's happening but only slightly solves the issue. It allows it to compile but even still there's a segmentation fault.

What information could I provide to get this set up? Is this a security feature that must be disabled or worked around to aloow this to compile? Has anyone else successfully compiled Node.js?

Thanks.

We have nodejs in our repository. Why are you compiling it?
