As I'm new to the distribution, the installer process didn't seem to allow me to install to a partition. I've installed it into a VM, and copied the files onto an EXT4 formatted partition, ran a grub update from boot repair fix, (copied the bootloader files into /boot from the 1st partition). The first boot panicked with VFS: unable to mount root fs on unknown-block (0,0), so I moved all of the files besides /boot/vmlinuz-grsec. This gave me the same error, I was hoping this would spit out an error to tell me what file I need to edit to set the right partition parameters 2nd partition, so (0,1) as a guess. Please advise how I give the kernel/initramfs the correct details to boot from the 2nd partition.

Don't bother, I'm done with the abysmal lack of support.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
