I try to install 'alpine-3.4.4-x86_64' and 'alpine-virt-3.4.4-x86_64' on VMware ESXi, 6.0.0, 4192238. Virtual machine specifications are:
- Hardware version - 11
- Guest OS - Other Linux 3.x (64-bit)
- vCpu - 1
- vMem - 128 Mb
- SCSI Controller - Vmware Paravirеual
- Network Adapter Type - VMXNET 3
After successful installation I add open-vm-tools. Then i try to start vmtoolsd manual and get 'segmentation fault' error. When i try to start 'open-vm-tools' service by 'rc-service open-vm-tools start' command I get 'crashed' status of service.
Does anyone else have these problems?
