Kernel without binary blobs

Hello. I think Alpine Linux is fine but I think it contains proprietary firmware which is unnecessary for some computers and it allows the possibility of backdoors, because you can't check what's inside and it could be a hidden vulnerability.
So I think a safer option is getting the same kernel but without binary blobs.
Do you know how to do this with the existent kernel or how to build it with the same Alpine Linux's characteristics in a new kernel?
There is the linux-libre project that provides such a kernel, but it's outdated.
The best thing you can do is to uninstall linux-firmware if it's already installed.
In the end, there will still be a completely closed source UEFI. Some of them can even update the firware via the Internet, this shows the possibility of backdoors. Some free firmwares had been written in the past, but nowadays even the CPU drivers are nonfree.
