OpenVZ Support

My current hosting provider doesn't currently support Alpine. I would very much like them to, however, they require OpenVZ kernel support from Alpine for it to work in their environment (?).

I can't seem to find any information as to the compatibility between Alpine and OpenVZ. Anyone have any information?
