After testing debian, debian-based and also the Gentoo based Sabayon I'm impressed with Alpine. Despite a few shortcomings it is secure, fast and small compared to the others I've tried. I hope to be able to contribute.

Right now what i noticed could be improved are

* installation procedures
* driver handling
* :-) support for steam
* wiki pages

I'm currently facing multiple issues

* i915 module is loaded but problems are reported for i965
* glxgears throws an error
* i have no idea why the intel drivers compilation fails
* grsec is installed by default but not documented on the wiki
* i'm not sure if i can use bash as the default shell
* user management from the cli seems to miss a few tools ?
* manuals are spare often result in /usr/share/man/mandoc.db: No such file or directory man: No entry for adduser in the manual.
* the documented way to have debootstrap working is not working for this system

I hope to get all this to work and/or document my progress on the wiki
