s6 is currently usable on Alpine as a supervision system, but it will not work as an init system.

We're planning on integrating s6 as an alternative init system in the future, but it's quite a way off.

If you attempt the migration successfully, please take notes and share them on wiki.alpinelinux.org

i had tried it, to someone it worked flawlessly, but not to me,
my old com's network card doesn't worked after installation.( on usb flash, it worked fine).
