Docker 1.12 in alpine

On my docker for mac we are having version 1.12 and in alpine we only have docker-1.11.1-r0.pre-install. Does anyone have instructions on install docker 1.12 to alpine so can I try out the service discovery and routing mesh features that is new in 1.12.

I noticed that the default 'edge/community' mirror sites currently have updated to docker 1.12.

Though the apt repository used in the guide at https://wiki.alpinelinux.org/wiki/Docker points to a repo that looks slightly outdated (http://dl-6.alpinelinux.org/alpine/edge/community)
(though given you asked this question over a month ago I imagine you may have discovered this yourself in the meantime)
