Configure takes for ever

Hi,

I am building several docker images.

They mostly use make, build, configure

No problems with 3.6.2 but with 3.7.0 the ./configure command stays at
" checking that generated files are newer than configure... " forever.

In 3.6.2 this step is taking a few seconds...

Any ideas ?
